Great flavor, quality ingredients and consistent finished product make this a winner. Nice that it’s aspartame free if you’re concerned about that. No unnecessary preservatives either and performs very well. Crystal clear and delicious product. Prep hint: make sure water and powder amounts are exact and that water is boiling. I make this in a stand mixer with a whisk attachment for the hot portion (2 quarts) and hot water boiled in an electric kettle. If making less than the full amount, again, make sure your measurements are exact and simply keep the rest of the powder in a sealable container or sandwich bag. A reviewer for an individual bag sale of this product said that the finished product came out chalky. This indicates that the improper portions were used and that the product was not dissolved. Water was not boiling either. It’s tough to mess up gelatin, but that reviewer did so by not fully dissolving the powder. I’ve found that it works great and this formulation is both much more economical and less additive and preservative containing than its name brand consumer competitor (which for better or worse has used the same sugar free formulations for decades now). The product here is from a major sweetener based foodservice company and keeps their recipes up to date and on trend for what consumers generally want, which is evident by looking at the ingredients and formulation here.
