The prepared piano pieces have a dreamy feel and sound. Slower and more spacious performance and a beautiful lush recording. My favorite interpretation of the sonatas. Empty words is very imaginative. The voices and electronics are abstract yet evocative. No narrative but multifarious dramatic arcs that flow in all directions. Definitely a euro German feel to the voices. Cage’s voice is pretty consistent with other recordings of him performing his poetry. Great listen!
