This "apparently unread copy" was not in perfect condition as advertised. It has dark sticky marks on the back dust cover as well as slight gouge marks and an tear that hasn't quite punctured through the dust cover. In addition, a tiny spider had made its home inside the book and when I opened the pages it met its demise. I have a copy of this little book I bought almost 20 years ago and it IS in pristine condition. The one I purchased from Thrift books was meant to be a gift for a dear friend who has recently lost her mother. I'm reluctant to give it to her in this condition.
