I’m not a student, just a married guy interested in learning more about human sexuality. This book definitely delivers. It covers a wide range of topics, expanding my knowledge on all aspects of sexuality. I was amazed by how rapidly some sexual practice have evolved. I was surprised by many of the studies and other facts that are included. Most importantly I gain a new appreciation for the need for direct, honest communication between partners. For guys, learning to listen more and accept feedback on how to improve the sexual experience of a partner. Changing your approach, speed, touch, etc. may vastly increase your partner’s desire for sex and ability to achieve multiple orgasms. For women, openly share your preferences and provide specific feedback on what works best for you. Faking orgasms only encourages the wrong behavior. For both partners, be willing to explore a variety of sensual and sexual experiences including some you feel are taboo, sharing what works best, what changes might help and what you don’t want to do again. Any behavior between consenting adults that produces pleasure should be embraced and repeated. By the end of the book, my wife and I had several meaningful conversations on how to improve our relationship of many years. I hope you have a similar experience with your significant other.
