A very interesting and thought provoking piece of antiquity. As a student of The Bible, I've always wanted to explore The Book of Enoch and why it is not in The Bible. Lost for years, Enoch was found again in the late 1930s, unchanged for centuries, with The Dead Sea Scrolls. Enoch, 7th from Adam and grandfather of Methuselah, eloquently describes in first person (unusual for Old Testament books) The Creation, his walk with God, his enlightenment, and serves up a stern warning of the impending deluge. He also describes what may be man's first recorded encounter with extraterrestrials and a UFO. Erich Van Daniken cites Enoch's description of his encounter with other worldly beings in his book Chariots of Fire. Enoch is also cited by modern Ancient Astronaut Theorists. He walked with God, warned the world of The Great Flood, taught accurate astronomy (taught to him by angels), told of the fall of The Watchers (fallen Angels) who fathered The Nephelim, and was one of two Biblical figures taken by God without experiencing a physical death. So, why is The Book of Enoch not in The Bible? Unfortunately, you just can't talk about UFOs and be taken seriously. This is an interesting book!
