Third grade bigger than expected And everyone loves a big surprise the paper quality is awesome the artwork that’s being done on them right now are beautiful my kids adore them we go through a lot of our books and these two I knew they were pricey but I have faith and I’m glad I didThe paper is pretty thin and a little cheap so you won’t be able to use water colors or markers. Pens work pretty well also if you planning to use only pencils/lead pencils you’ll be fine. The only reason I’m giving it a 4 stars (I was about to give it 3 stars) because the paper turns yellow form the sides and I don’t like that. Other then that it’s pretty good for the cost.I use for notes/ thoughts/ journal books. The paper is thickand has a nice weight to it. The paper isnt smooth and easy to write on. I don't know this would be good for art ( sketching, drawing, painting or watercoloring.ok this is a pretty decent product edges get kinda banged up but its pretty nice I recommendI bought this with a Castle Art pencil set as a last minute item for my fiancé. and she loves the quality. The hard cover with ring binding makes it easy to use on your lap casually drawing, or on a table. The paper has a light texturing to it that ha made it a little bit of a challenge to use with the pencil set, but still feels really good when handling it. The books are sturdy and of reasonably high quality. And best of all, it's a two pack!Second time I've ordered these sketch books. Grandkids is them fit writing and drawing. So nice to have all this history in one place !!Great!!good
