This book is China's first '24 solar terms' picture book for children. With 24 big pictures of solar terms and corresponding smaller pictures, this book shows the unique astronomy, meteorology, phenology, personnel, and folk characteristics of a certain village in the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River corresponding to the 24 solar terms. This picture book is meant to tell the children that no matter how life changes, we should close attention to rural areas, the purest nature, and the original source of our food, and to tell the children that nature has its own language, and nature will, via astronomy, meteorology, plants, animals and other things, tell us the secrets of nature.
